For the Second year in a row, Taro’s Origami Studio in Oakland provided origami tablets and teaching instructions for a prospective employee event. At the event at their San Francisco corporate headquarters, Taro’s setup several origami tablets with video instructions for people to fold at their own pace, and then also provided private lessons to people that wanted to fold something off the menu.
Taro’s also designed their own take on the classic Pinterest “P” Logo for the event. This take on the logo was folded using a long pleated strip of paper, that was simply inside-reverse folded repeatedly to create the same curvature of the original shape.
The event was a hit for everyone involved and people left with a model that they were able to fold themselves.
