For Halloween, here’s a look at the Taro’s Origami Studio folding event at the Briarwood Branch of the Queens Library.  The staff gave a presentation detailing some of the history of origami and gave a hands on demonstration during an hour long event.  Folders where able to create a bunch of different origami models.

One of the great things about origami is that people of all ages are able to engage in the activity.  Some of the folders at the library had done some origami before, and then some others had never tried it before, but everybody was able to make something and have a good time!
