Taro’s Origami Studio contributed an origami peace dove panel art to the Harmony for Peace concert 2016 held at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Center City Philadelphia, PA on September 17, 2016. This concert commemorated the United Nation’s International Day of Peace.

Taro Yaguchi planned the artwork; schoolchildren folded many of the individual origami doves; and volunteers arranged the colorful birds for the work. The dove is recognized internationally as a symbol for peace.
