On a beautiful autumn day, Michiko, one of our origami artists, drove 1.5 hours to a historic old town, Winchester, VA, to see the “Origami in the garden” exhibition at the Museum of Shenandoah Valley.

There are over 10 sculptures created by Santa Fe artists Jennifer and Kevin Box, who collaborated with the world famous Origami artists, Robert J. Lang, Te Jui Fui, Beth Johnson, Michal G. LaFosse, and Tim Armijo.

The giant metal sculptures are placed here and there in the 6 acres of beautiful gardens.

We are so amazed to see each sculpture is carefully recreated with details of the original Origami folding models. We enjoyed their incredible artwork as well as the calm and beautiful settings with magnificent fall colors.

The exhibition will be held until Nov. 13th.
