One of the perks of working as an origami artist, is getting to see the inside of some amazing places. For this holiday season, we were asked to teach origami for the holiday party of the office of Major League Baseball. For the Olympics earlier we had already designed some origami figures including a baseball player, so we brought it along. You can see it below.
The booth for the event had a great origami crane background, and our staff created a model menu of different options for everyone to choose from. It was a pretty raucous party, so guests had the option of simply taking a model they liked, making a request, or actually folding a model themselves, which several folks chose to do.
The MLB offices are right out side Radio City Music hall, and have a wonderful view of the street.
