IMG_0716Joe Adia is a self-taught artist who has been practicing origami for over 15 years. He started folding at age 12, with the traditional crane as his first model. Since then he has collected books, practiced folding daily, and designed his own models. Joe made origami a part time living by selling his models, teaching for schools and charitable programs, exhibiting at events, and now folding for Taro’s Origami Studio. In addition, Joe has a master’s in Speech Language Pathology. He hopes to one day diagram his designs, publish them, and even create video tutorials.
