On Saturday, February 26th, Taro’s Origami Studio was invited to be part of the Grand Opening celebration for Japan Village’s opening of their second floor space, The Loft. Founder Taro Yaguchi, assisted by Senior Artist Jeff Raab, gave four Giant Origami Performances over the course of the day to audiences of all ages. Between the performances, we had our Origami Pop-Up Booth setup, where patrons could try folding origami using our tablets, and purchase origami books and paper.
We'd like to extend a special thank you to CLAIR and JNTO for inviting us to be part of this lovely event. It was a great opportunity for Taro and Jeff to continue refining this unique presentation, and audiences were engaged, complimentary, and enthusiastic during and after the performances.
