Fujitsu Event

Recently Taro Yaguchi visited Manhattan for an event on behalf of Fujitsu International.  At the famous Marriott hotel in the middle of Time Square, he folded origami on demand for visitors.  The gathering for Fujitsu was a part of an Asian Celebration in conjunction with the Fujitsu World Tour.

Taro Yaguchi, the founder of Taro’s Origami Studio is also a published origami master and innovative origami teaching method creator.  He was asked to attend the event not only to share origami with the guests, but also to spread a little bit of the traditional Japanese way of life, with his full ceremonial kimono dress.

The event was also done on specially-made branded origami paper that the origami studio made just for Fujitsu.  This way the models that were made for guests could be taken away and treasured by guests, but also contain a reminder of where they came from.

Taro then setup an origami model menu for people to look over and then choose from.  This way people can stop by and see some of the great things that could be made for them and get some inspiration about what to order from Taro.  There were many people who attended the event, and even those without time to have something created were able to enjoy the fine artistry and skill on display.
