Custom Origami Request from Dior
Taro's Origami Studio has had a lot of fun requests over the last decade, and recently Dior called again to ask about re-creating some of their luxury clothing in paper. Senior designer Frank Ling took up the challenge and came up with not only an initial design but then a more refined suit coat after some improvements. Dior also requested that Frank show off his ability to mass produce with consistency, so he made several identical ones as well.
Origami Folding Event
Each origami event has their own look and feel. For this luxury event at Dior it was all about one on one interaction with guests, personal shoppers and influencers. Frank was able to fold custom origami suit models for each and every attendee that stopped by and provide some fun talking about what it's like to be a professional paper folder. It wasn;t the first time Frank has designed something new for an event and it certainly won't be the last.
