In what is quickly becoming a yearly tradition for the greater NYC community, Taro’s Origami Studio held another origami folding demonstration at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, folding over-sized models, displaying a wide variety of finished origami, and teaching some models along the way.  For this annual event, the Taro’s Origami staff- in this case, Frank Ling and Joe Adia for the Saturday events, and then Taro Yaguchi himself on Sunday to show off some more design and folding skills.

Here is the Taros Origami setup, complete with some origami model handouts and the over-sized folding kit.

As well as showing off some origami models and designs in person, the studio also brought some finished models to the event, so that people could get up close with some wonderful model examples of modulars, complex models, (like airplanes, tigers, and spaceships) dragons, and pleated faces.
