For beginners the classes section is the perfect place to start you origami journey!  We will spend the first class assessing your skills and seeing what kind of models you like and are able to fold.  These are tailored for folders ages 5 and up.  If you’re more advanced and looking for some professional help on more advanced origami concepts, head over to the private / group lessons section.

All of our teachers are wonderful folders, but some are more adept in different areas (traditional models, teaching children, modulars, tessellations, or complex models for example) so please read their teacher profiles to see who would be the best fit for you. From here you can set your time zone, number of folders, pick your teacher, and directly book a private lesson with them.  You can also decide between a class at our Brooklyn location or an on-line class from anywhere in the world.  If you want an online class it will automatically generate and e-mail you a zoom link for your class time, and don’t worry, once you book a class your teacher will be able to correspond with your teacher if you need to move the class time or reschedule.
