May is the month that has been set aside to help celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and impact across the world. Here at Taro’s Origami Studio we have a unique connection to this month because not only are we a small Asian owned business, but one of our main goals is to help share the cultural impact and joy of Origami, one of the most easily accessible and recognizable Asian artforms. As a result this AAPI season we have been a part of over 28 different origami celebrations across North America this month. And due to our experience during the recent pandemic with perfecting our online classes we have been able to share lessons, origami instructions, and talks about the history of origami with all of them.
It has been our joy and privilege to help share our love of origami this entire year and especially this month. We’d also like to give a special thank you to all of these companies and everyone who’s taken a class with us so far. Our online classes have really skyrocketed in the last 12 months and we look forward to continuing that trend moving forward!
