TARO’S ORIGAMI / NY LIBERTY WNBA GAME
Every big sporting event has a problem. How are they going to convince people to come to the game instead of wacthing it at home on their new tv? Well the NY Liberty contacted Taro’s Origami Studio with an idea. They wanted to help improve their fan experiance with some origami.
So to make this happen, The Taro’s team talked with the event staff about how they could best serve the Liberty fans. There were a lot of different ideas ranging from unique NY themed models to timed lessons, but in the end they all agreed that no matter what the goal if we people to make fun. With that in mind, Frank Ling went to the game and setup a menu of models for people to choose from. Using paper in the distinct Liberty Teal, guests were able to learn and fold anything they liked and even make requests of the Senior Artist.
